Top Date Night Restaurants in St.Louis, July 2017
Every week, my husband and I try a new restaurant. So next time you are looking at your significant other wondering that age old question “where should we go to dinner?” Make sure to refer to our blog, because we will be updating this list regularly!
Here is my current list of favorites:
Juniper
Juniper’s Menu is rooted in traditional southern style dishes with a twist. The menu consists of delicious home-style biscuits, classic chicken & waffles, amazing fried chicken, and so much more! The cocktail list at Juniper is equally as impressive. Juniper is the perfect date night establishment, the exposed brick walls and long wooden tables immediately make you feel at home.

Olive & Oak
When Olive & Oak opened in downtown Webster, it was an immediate hit. In fact, it was near impossible to get a reservation. So if you are planning on trying Olive & Oak, I suggest you make a reservation ahead of time. Simply head to the webpage (below) and make one from there. Olive & Oak serves up creative American classics amongst an intimate atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous wrap-around bar and full glass windows line the back wall. The vibe is upscale, yet trendy.

Trattoria Marcella
Trattoria Marcella is the perfect place if you are looking for an old school date night. When you step into the restaurant, it’s the closest feeling to dinning in Italy in STL you will find. A friendly hostess greets and leads you to a beautiful white table cloth and quiet dinner location. While everything on the menu is a delight and completely made from scratch, I do have a few favorites. Here at Trattoria Marcella, you will find the best toasted ravioli in the city. There is nothing quite like their delicious fried shell FULL of seasoned beef. It is quite simply heaven!

Gallagher’s
Gallagher’s is located in the charming town of Waterloo, IL. Just over the river, this is the perfect location for an adventurous date night. Gallagher’s is located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of downtown Waterloo. The building is three floors and each is more charming then the next. They serve comfort-style food with a twist and beautifully crafted cocktails. There is perhaps no better combination!
Must Try Menu Item: Gallagher’s Candied Bacon Cheeseburger: 100% ground beef brisket with vermont white cheddar, candied bacon and homemade mayo
